Named Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for February and March ... Ranks
second among rookies in assists (5.4), steals (1.22) and double-doubles (12) (
Ranks fourth among rookies in points per game (11.8) and assist/turnover ratio
(2.39) ... In 52 games as a starter, averages 14.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 6.4
assists and 1.4 steals in 35.7 minutes ... Scored in double figures 36 of the
last 42 games and 46 times on the season, and 13 times has had 10-plus assists
... Is currently ranked No. 2 in NBA.com's Rookie Rankings.
'05-'06年球季表現：

場兩個雙位數次數(13次)都排在所有新秀第二名，單場平均得分(11.8分)、助攻/失誤比(

Our take:
Early in the season, Raymond Felton was playing behind Brevin Knight at the
point. On November 16, Knight was out with an injury and Felton got a chance to
start. He responded with 18 points, 10 assists and five steals, leading the 2-6
Bobcats over the 4-2 Pacers. After that, Felton went back to the bench, but he
eventually forced coach Bernie Bickerstaff to play him alongside Knight, and he
has been the best rookie in the Eastern Conference ever since.

我們的看法：
季初R.Felton僅僅是擔任山貓先發控衛B.Knight的備胎，不過去年11/16Knight因傷缺
陣後Felton順勢接下先發控衛的位置，而他也以18分、10助攻、5抄截的亮麗成績回應，並
帶領當時2勝6敗的山貓打敗4勝2敗的印地安納溜馬。在那之後，Felton再次回到板凳，但
他傑出的表現最終驅使教練B.Bickerstaff不得不讓他和Knight一起擔當先發後場，此後他
便成了東區最佳新秀。

From the coach:
You could just see the growth. He figured out how to use the rim and his
strength when he takes it to the hole. He makes big shots. They guys has got
courage and he has mental toughness. He's very confident and has the physical
skills to go with it. And what I think his biggest asset is his love for the
game. I think that got him over the hump. Most guys come in as rookies and hit
that wall, but he loves basketball so much, he surmounted it pretty easily.

教練的看法：
你一定能看得到Felton的成長，他已經找出如何利用自身優勢及場上天時地利人和把
球順利送進籃框的方式，也能執行關鍵一擊。球員們已經越來越有自信，而Felton的心理
強度也有了顯著的成長。他非常有自信，也有足夠的體能和技術可以配合，而我認為他最
大的優點是對於比賽的熱愛，那能幫助他突破各種大小難關。很多球員在新秀球季時都有
出手時機選擇不當的問題，但因為他實在相當熱愛籃球，所以很快就解決了那難題。

A fan's take:
Raymond Felton had to come into a team were they didn't need him that badly, so
they split time with him and Brevin Knight. Raymond Felton learned how to play
in the NBA and competed for playing time in a great fashion, and that I think
is very hard to do. Overall Raymond is just a great person too. I have followed
him, and he and the rest of the Bobcats team have done large amounts of service
for the community. Go Raymond!

球迷的看法：
Felton加入時其實球隊在控衛這個點並非他不可的急迫性，所以他們讓Felton和
Knight一同分擔控球的重任。Felton不僅學習到如何在NBA中生存，更拼命爭取到更多的上
場時間，我認為這一切都是相當難能可貴的，而且Felton本身也是一個好人。我已經迷上
他了，且他和其他山貓隊員都給了我們社區很多幫助，Felton加油！
