The Prospect Promotion Incentive program was introduced in the 2022 Collective B
argaining Agreement. The initiative is aimed at reducing service time manipulati
on by incentivizing teams to roster their best 26 players—including top prospec
ts—on Opening Day.
這個新制度的用意是鼓勵球隊讓大物能在開幕戰就上來
條件是
該位球員入選官網、BA與ESPN至少其中兩家的季前百大新秀。
還有新人資格且年資少於60天
在新人年取得完整一年的年資
符合上述條件的球員拿下新人王，或是在薪資仲裁前獲得MVP/CYA票選前三的話球隊能拿到
獎勵的選秀權。
目前受益的有水手（J-Rod）、金鶯和響尾蛇
