這本書除了記載日記的內容之外，
還有另一個特點。
永恆之島上都有這本日記中所提到的各種怪物，
而要怎麼對抗它們，這本日記都說得很清楚。
舉例來說:
: 風羽鶴
: The Windfeather Crane
: 我們撞見了一種壯觀的鳥類，羽毛非常漂亮，但是捍衛鳥巢的時候十分兇狠。
: We have stumbled across a glorious bird species capable of producing
: brilliant plumage, and highly protective of their nests.
: 這種鳥似乎有操控風的能力，理順羽毛後能對獵食者進行快速地連續反擊。雌鳥的叫聲很
: 好聽，會用歌唱般的鳴叫聲安撫焦躁的幼鳥。雄鳥則特別凶猛，遭遇敵人的時候會豎起羽
: 毛，然後鼓動強風吹襲敵人。
這些代表著這種鶴的技能，公母不同
: The birds seem to have an affinity with the winds, and can smooth down their
: feathers, allowing them to strike rapidly at predators. The matriarchs of the
: species sing a soothing melody, calming the chicks when they are agitated.
: The males seem particularly fierce, and will ruffle their feathers to sweep a
: powerful gust of wind at attackers.
: 我們獵殺了幾隻風羽鶴，主要是為了吃肉。味道不錯，只是柴了點。風羽鶴的羽毛好像還
: 能提振精神，所以我猜想牠們的羽毛應該蘊含著什麼魔力才對。
這代表羽毛有特殊功用
: We have hunted the Windfeather for their meat in particular, which makes for
: a savory, if lean, meal. The feathers themselves seem to lighten the men's
: spirits, and I must wonder if they have magical properties.
: 此外，我好幾次見到鳥巢裡有沙沙作響的鳥蛋。要是有機會的話，真想拿一個回來自己孵
: 化，做更進一步的觀察和研究。
這代表鳥蛋可能開出神秘的道具
: I have, on several occasions, seen rustling eggs amongst the nests. If I am
: able, I shall procure one to hatch on my own for further investigation.

以此類推，幾乎每頁都有很多線索，
由於永恆之島是暴雪讓玩家到處探險的地方，
因此就不詳細介紹到底這些文字表是甚麼意義了。
等到5.4上線以後，大家在慢慢地找尋這些線索的意義吧。
我想這應該是除了農怪以外，最有意思的部分。
