作者: win95se (鳳梨王) 看板: Employee 標題: [活動] 佔領你工作的地方！ 時間: Thu Feb 13 22:51:56 2014 【連鎖企業星巴克 也可以成功組織工會？】佔領你工作的地方！& 世界工業勞工（IWW） 簡介 你有沒有想過，爭取更好的勞工待遇，除上街外，也可以工作間裡進行嗎? 台灣的餐飲及服務業佔了很重的比例。服務業的流動性高、就業不穩定、工時長，使得組 織工會的工作格外困難。而類似星巴克Starbucks 這類的連鎖服務業的員工又大多為年青 人，亦不易組織。 2012年，佔領運動在全世界大大小小的城市發生，展現出全球人民反對現有的資本主義經 濟，以及其所造成的貧困、環境破壞以及各種形式的戰爭，使得全世界1%的人越來越富裕 。佔領運動之後不到一年，那些原本佔領著公共空間的帳棚已經不見了，但資本主義仍在 運轉。讓我們不禁想問：到底怎麼樣我們才會贏？ 2004年，美國的Starbucks 員工自己成功組織起工會來，並且在這10年間不斷透過各種直 接行動、不合作運動來爭取權益。這10年間，Starbucks 工會不斷壯大，打破我們一直以 來以為Starbucks這類形象中產的連鎖企業很難有員工組織工會的印象。 在這個分享活動中，世界工業勞工（Industrial Workers of the World，IWW）成員 Erik Forman會跟大家分享，他在美國的星巴克工會組織經驗。透過這樣的經驗，希望讓 所有來參加的人都能夠獲得啟發，組織工作場所的工人，以及如何能夠透過組織來痛擊資 本主義。活動中也會分享世界工業勞工（IWW）的組織歷史、精神理念以及目前的營運狀 況，讓大家認識這個全球性的工人自主工會。 2014/02/19 晚上七點 中華電信工會（台北市金華街138號） 主辦單位：青年勞動九五聯盟 講者：Erik Forman & Christopher Helali ＊現場備有口譯人員，進行逐步口譯 --- Occupy the Workplace: An Introduction to the IWW In 2012, Occupy camps popped up in cities across the world, demonstrating a new global opposition to the capitalist economic system and the poverty, environmental destruction, and war that it creates in order to enrich the 1%. Less than a year later, the protest camps were gone, but capitalism remained. Many of us wonder- how can we build a movement that can win? In this presentation, IWW organizer Erik Forman will share his experiences building a union in the belly of the capitalist beast- at Starbucks in the Mall of America in the United States. Through this example, participants will learn how to organize on the job, and how we can hit capitalism where it hurts through workplace organizing. Participants will learn about the history, philosophy, and current activities of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), a global, revolutionary worker-run union open to all workers.
