Spears of The Undefeated. All three players become unrestricted free agents this summer. Harris and Vucevic will likely command max money on the open market, while Cousins will probably have to sign another cheap deal since he suffered another injury. The Knicks have cap space this offseason to sign two max contract players. With all signs pointing toward Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant teaming up with agents. Other free agents on the Knicks’ radar include their own free agent center DeAndre Jordan, Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins and twins Markieff and Marcus Morris. New Orleans Pelicans forward Julius Randle and the Knicks also have mutual interest, according to sources. Harris grew up in New York. This past season with the Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers, Harris averaged 20.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists. For the Orlando Magic, Vucevic put up 20.8 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists. The All-Star center has also been linked to the Dallas Mavericks and Sacramento Kings. Vucevic could decide to re-sign with the Magic. Cousins played in 30 games for the Golden State Warriors after missing the first 45 games of the season recovering from the torn Achilles tendon he suffered in 2017-18 with the New Orleans Pelicans. Boogie averaged 16.3 points and 8.2 rebounds. The four-time All-Star then suffered a torn left quad in Game 2 of the Warriors’ first round matchup against the Clippers. Cousins returned for the NBA Finals, but wasn’t that effective, scoring just 8.3 points.
