Mariners Name Scott Servais Manager

The Seattle Mariners have named Scott Servais their manager.
水手隊今天決定由Scott Servais接任球隊新任總教練的職務。
Servais, an assistant general manager with the Los Angeles Angels, will be
introduced on Monday.
Servais過去曾經在天使隊擔任助理GM，也就是說他曾經跟現任水手總管 Jerry Dipoto
共事過。
順道一提，水手隊官方要到美國時間下周一才會舉辦記者會正式介紹他。
"I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to manage the Seattle
Mariners," Servais told MLB.com. "It has long been my goal to manage a big
league team and while I took a slightly different path than many, I am
confident in my ability to lead.
Servais接受MLB官網訪問時表示︰「我既興奮又很感激能夠得到管理水手隊的機會，
因為在大聯盟得到教練的機會，一直是我長久以來的目標。即使我走了許多不同的路
才來到這裡，但我對我的領導能力仍然有信心。」
"We have a terrific core of players and I'm looking forward to bringing in a
coaching staff that will help me establish a winning culture here as we work
toward putting a championship-caliber team on the field for the fans of the
Northwest."
「水手隊擁有相當優秀的核心球員，我也很期待未來招來的助教團能夠幫我建立贏球
文化，為美國西北地區的球迷帶來一隻邁向總冠軍的球隊。」

心得︰恭喜 Scott Servais
順便從維基帶大神補充幾個資料
1.Servais擁有10年的大聯盟資歷，待過四支球隊，
大聯盟生涯的第一次與最後一次上場剛好都在太空人
2.當Jerry Dipoto離開天使後，Servais原先是想藉由面試內部升職，
不過卻輸給了Billy Eppler，但Servais反而也因此獲得與Dipoto再次合作的機會
